"This years Summer Fun Hunter Pace went off without a hitch thanks to all the FHC folks who so graciously contributed food, time and their lofty experience in horse events. I would like to acknowledge Sally Garland for the beautiful flower arrangements that she provided. Their fragrance lifted my spirits all morning.
I don't know how I could have done without Sally Powers, Bobbie Wells, Paula Falk and Lynne Taylor working out the registration table for me. Thank you girls for simplifying a very confusing system!
I received so many compliments on the trail and the course that Daron, Alison and Tommy laid out and tested for us. It really was a beautiful ride and the jumps were so professional and attractive. The course was marked so well that we didn't loose anybody! I have to give a big thank you to JB for the use of his beautiful property to stage our event this summer.
I want to thank the following folks for answering a multitude of questions: Stephanie, Liz, Bobbie, Liz, and of course Liz who kept me calm and focused. I want to thank my "Drinks" gal Karen Bull who collected all the drinks that kept us hydrated and Donna Barnd and the Millington Girls who provided the awesome desserts!
I can't thank Becky and Acshah enough for their expertise and advise as starters for this event. Those two know exactly what they are doing and do it with precision and patience. They were out there for three hours just timing folks! They were amazing.
I can't tell you how much fun this actually was to put together. It was great to get to know FHC members better, to put names with faces and to realize how generous, friendly and gracious all our FHC members are. We are truly an awesome bunch of horse loving folks.
Thank you all for making this event such a success! We counted 90 entries overall, and hope they'll come again next time!"
