Up until the 1980's Farmington's pack was composed primarily of tri-color American Foxhounds, most of which traced their pedigree back to the sought after Bywaters line. Today, because of the increase in population, a more wooded hunting country, heavy road traffic, the resonant cry of the American Hound is still valued and we are looking for the best hound to better suit our hunt country.
We have currently about 5 couple of Crossbred hounds, 151/2 couple of American hounds and 31/2 couple of Penn-Marydel hounds in our breeding program. To be entered this fall are 2 couple of Crossbreds and 21/2 couple of Penn-Marydel.
