June 25th Saturday night at the Clubhouse, members gathered to meet new neighbors, prospective members and to welcome our generous landowners. Highlighting the evening's excitement was great music provided by Red Drum Ramblers and Company that had most folks( the Hadens, Louise McConnell, Paula and Jim, Tish and Tom, Emily, Josh and Tony, Chris and Kim just to name a few) dancing on the shiny new floor recently refinished by Paul King. A feast of a dinner featured pulled pork, fresh slaw, barbecued chicken, great salad and over 10 gallons of homemade frozen custard served up by Debbie Wright with Shelly's delicious homemade cowboy cake, along with a special cake decorated in honor of the Butterfield's 40th wedding anniversary. Thanks to the Cowles, Pattie Boden, the Johnsons, the Middletons,the Chapmans, the Wrights, the Thompsons, BJ, the Beeneys and everyone who helped the social committee put on a great evening. Kim loaned her fine collection of cowboy boots to show off for table decorations that were awesome. You couldn't have asked for better June weather and the view from our deck is a million dollar attraction. Thanks to our FHC hosts for another nice event.
