We all owe a big thanks Melissa and Phillip Johnson for the use of Hidden Fox Farm. Having such a beautiful place to have the horse show helps make it very special and they are very kind to put up with us each year.
Speaking of making it special, many many thanks to Scott Nunnally for the use of the large tent. On a very hot afternoon it was a wonderful thing to be able to escape the sun, have a seat and recharge under the tent.
Couldn't have done it without the help of my trusty sidekick Drew Perkins who again should be thanked for putting up with another horse show.
Our announcing duties were ably handled by Ken Chapman and Debbie Wright. Many thanks to them.
What an outstanding bunch of secretaries!!! Kay Barquin and Robin Lundgren handled the morning duties, followed up by BJ Korol and Shelly Thompson in the afternoon. They helped everything run very smoothly.
Evie Cowles, Mary Harp and Jennifer Daly also kicked in with jump crew support, ribbon duties, and pretty much anything that needed to be done.
Another good turnout, every division filled, some were actually quite large, and the pleasure horses even had to be split. All in all a great day to be at a horse show and hoping it will just continue to grow in time.
