Blizzard!
Record snow buries area farms December 19, 2009

On Friday evening December 18th the snow started coming down, and did not stop until early Sunday December 20th. We had a record breaking 24 inches or more that buried local farms, making horse care and travel treacherous.Nighttime temperatures stayed in the twenties. Many experienced power outages to make things even more challenging. By Tuesday area residents were still digging out!
