80th Anniversary Celebration
Fantastic evening at the Clubhouse 10/31/09
FHC celebrated the 80th anniversary of its founding in 1929 with a great party and benefit auction held at the Clubhouse in Free Union, Saturday October 31st. Hosts and party organizers Evie Cowles and Robin Mellen welcomed a big crowd who came back together for an evening of re-living the proud history of our club. Old photos, fond memories and stories were shared, and a sumptuous buffet enjoyed by all. A benefit auction featuring unique travel destinations and silent auction items offering some fantastic hunting opportunities tempted the guests thanks to the entertaining style of Donald Clark, our auctioneer. Members and guests both new and from years past enjoyed a wonderful evening we will never forget. Thanks to everyone whose generosity made it such a success.
