First Tee/FHC Benefit Golf Tournament
By all accounts, the second annual benefit golf tournament was a big success!

The First Tee-Farmington Hunt Club Benefit Golf Tournament held September 16, 2009 was a big success. Despite an uncertain forecast, the weather was ideal for golf and the Old Trail course was in good condition. We had an excellent turnout, with twenty two foursomes competing in three different divisions.
As usual the talented and generous FHC membership stepped up to the plate and was well represented during the event both as players and supporters. It was especially nice to see quite a few new members participating and having so much fun. In addition, no one fell off and cleaning golf clubs is easier than bathing a horse. Special thanks go out to all of the players, prize donors, tee sponsors and volunteers for making this year's tournament a success for both FHC and our worthy partner, The First Tee of Charlottesville.
