Great day for the Summer Fun Hunter Pace at Millington Stables! Riders came from neighboring farms and Virginia Hunt Clubs including Deep Run, Bull Run, Oak Ridge.
It was a gorgeous day at Millington after a long rainy month! I want to thank John and Mary Scott Birdsall for our beautiful venue and Jay Fennell for clearing all the tall grass to make our spot and trials look great! Big shout out to Matthew Cook and Josh for cutting through many huge fallen trees that enabled us to create a 7 mile trial ride successfully and for putting up that huge tent and bringing another tent so my timers didn't fry-couldn't do this without you!!! FHC Master Liz King for her exception trail marking talent and her support every year for this event. My volunteers: our secretaries-Dale Dealtrey, Cynthia Riegle and Ann Horner, my gate keepers-Chris Cuthbert and Linda Uihlein, my timers- Howard Miller and Linda Haschart, my water man (who refreshed all the riders a much needed drink!) Brian Barquin and his girls Ruby and Hannah. Thank you to all the FHC members who brought plenty of food to feed an army, Melissa Morrison for the beautiful flower arrangements and Michelle Fultano who picked up and brought all the BBQ to us and is always there to pitch in, and Tiffany Snell and Sherry Nebzbola for bringing the ice and all the drinks-Thank you all for another great and successful Summer Fun Hunter Pace!
