Farmington Hunt Annual Fundraiser-Hound Sponsorship Auction and Dinner

The Club came together for a lovely dinner and Auction on Saturday November 11th in honor of our hounds! After a day of hunting and hosting Keswick Hunt for the Joint meet at Millington, the party was a great way to end the day.
"Master Chef" Shelly Thompson prepared a feast served by a fabulous group of juniors and enjoyed by 112 guests. The social committee--thank you Trina Player and Stephanie Buss-prepared delicious appetizers.The Hound Sponsorship was wonderfully organized by Evie Cowles and great thanks to Chris Middleton for the fabulous photos! Thank you to all the generous sponsors whose donations helped raise a generous sum for the kennels. Successful sponsors received a lovely embroidered saddle pad with the name of their Hound. Look for the saddle pads on your hack!
The Auction was organized by Helen Hilliard--it was fabulous and very rewarding! Thank you to all the generous donors and the bidders.
Helen Hilliard, Carter McNeely, Marty Dent and BJ Korol decorated the club, and Grenelle decorated the buffet table-- many people commented how nice it all looked.Thank you to Colleen Bassett for the lovely table topiary.
Though it was a cold evening the roaring fire and good friendship warmed the club house and the tented deck provided ample space for mingling guests.
