We had 77 riders and a gorgeous day! The trail was a little rough and a lot of folks got lost but it was such a nice day I don't think anyone really cared!

Report:
After a week of torrential downpours and high winds, we finally got our picture perfect day for the Summer Fun Hunter Pace! I have to give a big THANK YOU and BLESS YOU to Ken and Carolyn Chapman, Bonnie Hanks, Debra Wray and Julie Cook for their many attempts and sacrifices (Bonnie's hand!) on their first course design for a Hunter Pace since Daron and Alison left. It is not as easy as you think folks! Julie and Debra were still fixing tapes and clearing the paths from storms on Thursday. My crew was great and so dependable, they really make my day easy. A Big Shout out to Bobbie Wells, Paula Falk and Sally Powers for making registration as easy as possible. My starters this year were Locke Ogens, Jim Finn, and Joy Crompton who worked well together and tried to keep the crowd calm and patient at the start. A huge thanks to the Cook's who assembled the tent and brought out the chairs and tables. Thank you to all the members who donated their cooking skills, we had plenty of food but by the end of the day-no leftovers!!! I think that is the best complement of all! A big thanks to Karen Bull for organizing the drinks and Donna Barndt and the Millington Girls for the awesome desserts.I can't say enough to thank JB and Mary Scott for allowing us to use their beautiful land for this event year after year. It is one of THE most lovely spots with such a breath taking view. While waiting for riders to finish I just stood there in awe of that skyline view, just amazing.Thank you to everyone who came out to participate this year! Next year will be even better as we learn and grow. Thank you and look for your pictures on the website...I took A LOT!
