Annual Awards presented, Huntsman Matt Cook Meets FHC members
Monday evening at the Clubhouse 4/29/2013
The membership unanimously elected the slate of new board members,officers and new Secretary, Connie Laudenschlager. New Board members are Martha Drum, Carol Ham and Jennifer Cofield. President Reynolds Cowles thanked outgoing members Debbie Wright, Chris Middleton and Pattie Boden for their excellent service to the club. BJ Korol presented the Jill Summers award for best turned out fox hunter to Kip Holloway, and Dr. Cowles presented the Julian Beckwith award to Alyson Louthan. A full house listening to committee reports and important business, the meeting was followed by a great pot luck dinner
Farmington put on another great jumper show, hosted at J.B. and Mary Scott Birdsall's beautiful Schelford Farm. Almost 40 horses competed, despite the inclement rainy weather! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make the show a success: Tommy McCauley, Matthew Cook B.J. Korol, Caroll Robertson, Joy Crompton, Bob Haschart, Stephanie Guerlain, Muffin Barnes, Liz King, Ginger and David Ashcom, Martha Drum and students, Bonnie Hanks, Cathy Robb, Debbie Wright, Kate and Thoma Johnson, Stephen Bickers, Jim Finn, Kim Morton, and of course, Robin Lundgren and her crew at Schelford, Kai, Jimmy and Matt.
