Hunt Ball, Benefit Auction at Farmington Country Club is Big Success!

Last night's hunt ball was a spectacular success in all regards. There are so many people to thank but number one is all of you who so generously contributed in so many ways. The donations to the auction surpassed any expectations of your Board. Thank you. The attendance was great and coupled with Oak Ridge we hit a high mark- 184. And then the auction- wow!!; you were so generous. Carolyn and Evie and their committees did an outstanding job and we provided our club with a real boon in financial progress. Eddie Case, the auctioneer, was very good and his wife Cathy and he had an incredible system to track everything and make the checkout so efficient. We had Jessica and Morgan doing the credit card swiping and Thoma doing the accounting. What a team! This was all set up by Karen Catron, an Oak Ridge and FHC limited associate member that introduced us to this team. Also we had a very successful on line auction that Stephanie Guerlain oversaw. It was small but portends well for the future.
And then all of you who purchased items- over the top. But add that to the great band and party- thanks to Liz for selecting a great band. I think we would have danced into the wee hours if they had stayed- great party. I think this event speaks well to the camaraderie and esprit de corps that we have at FHC. Thanks so much from all your officers, Masters, and Board members.
