2012 Spill Wine Potluck Dinner
Great Party at the Clubhouse 3/17/2012
see report and photos !
2012 Saturday March 17th Farmington Hunt Club celebrated the end of the hunt season with a convivial gathering of members and guests. Highlighting the evening were wonderful stories and poems about the spills and recoveries experienced this year by those who came through in fine form to tell us their stories. Shelly and Mark led the festivities. We heard the dramatic poems telling experiences of Jane Dudinksy, Martha Drum, Helen Flor and others, plus some great stories from members who did not have spills, but nonetheless had tall tales to tell. Rohn told of the fox "THIS big" that got away, and Ken Chapman recounted his single handed conquest of a long horn bull during the hunt this morning. More than a few bottles of wine were spilled into cups that were lifted in good cheer, and everyone had a fine time, followed by a wonderful pot luck feast. Thanks Shelly for organizing it!
