2012 Saturday Jan Ist Farmington members and lots of juniors turned over a New Year's day calendar page with a fun hunt that met at melissa and Phillip Johnson's Hidden Fox farm in Free Union riding over miles of territory, to Buck Mountain and back again. It was a crisp winter day with plenty of sunshine and thankfully, numerous foxes. We had three fields of riders led by ken Chapman, Kay Butterfield and Liz King. Everyone had a great time, and afterwards we enjoyed a delicious "Hoppin' John" breakfast of black eyed peas and greens, with a full assortmant of beverages to chase the chill. Thank you Shelly Thompson and ebbie Wright, and their crew for providing this wonderful breakfast. Grenelle Delany, Charlotte's Mom, was there to take photos of the day.
