End of Season Pig Roast, March 13th

This annual celebration of the end of hunting season welcomed a big crowd of FHC members, landowners and guests to the Clubhouse. Bok and Ellie Summers provided a wonderful Barbecue of fresh pulled pork, salads and desserts, and everyone toasted the end of a fun year of hunting and social activities. This provided a perfect occasion for B.J. Korol to present her inaugural award to recognize FHC members for "Best Turned out Rider and Horse", in memory of our former MFH Jill Summers, who set such a fine example. B.J. said "This goes to some one who Jill would have loved to see with a spotless horse and in perfect turn out." This year's award went to Kim and Chris Middleton.

A special thank you to Carolyn Chapman for organizing the "Name that Hound" pool. She raised $380 for the hounds. Thanks Carolyn!

Bok and I would like to thank everyone for coming to the BBQ on Saturday. It was so nice to see everyone again and we raised some money for the club.
We would also like to thank Gary and Sandy Kendall and BJ Korol for coming early to help us set up, Beth Sutton for providing the Salad, Muffin for folding and stacking chairs and Matt and Cathy Robb for staying and cleaning up!
Congratulations to Chris and Kim Middleton for winning the Jill Summers Perpetual Trophy for best turned out during the season.
