December 19, 2015 Farmington Hunt meet and Memorial service at Springhaven Farm
honoring our former MFH Carol O. Easter who died on November 3. MFH Pat Butterfield addressed a sizable crowd of 55 riders and many friends who joined the Easter family to spend the day "doing what she loved most in the place she loved best of all spots on the planet." After a wonderful hunt riding through hunt country we had not hunted in years, the field joined friends and family for a beautiful, brief service conducted by our own Reverend Dale Dealtrey and music by Duke Merrick and his band. Following the service the Easters hosted a complete hunt breakfast served with "Bloody Maries", Carol's favorite, while 400 guests enjoyed the warmth of typical Easter hospitality in a huge cathedral-like tent (provided by family friends Scott and Lee Nunnally's Virginia Tent Rental.)
