Sunday November 4th FHC held the annual Hunter Pace Event at the home of Jock and Diane Fiery in Albemarle County, VA. Once again riders enjoyed competing for fun riding a beautiful course over rolling country designed by our professional hunt staff Daron and Alison Beeney. Managed by B.J.Korol, assisted by with help from a host of willing volunteers, the day was a success in every way.

A note to all from B.J.: "To FHC and Friends , I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to the Hunter Pace today you all showed great hunt support and I think had a little fun to boot !!! To all those who helped ,especially to my chef extraordinaire Jennifer Cofield and her little helper, who gave us a wonderful lunch today. To my great secretaries Kay, Bobbie and Robin they did a great job handling the paper work making sure ever thing was in order and gather the fees. To our parking boss Linda , making sure everyone fit in . The timers Paula Falk, Carolyn Chapman and our ever speedy starter Alison Beeney . We also had a great crew out on the course making sure everyone stayed on course ,Ken ,Bok ,Bonnie and Mr. Beeney .Last but not least to all those who helped with food and drink donations  we really appreciated it . But I think we all need to give a cheer to the Fiery's for letting us use there beautiful farm it is probably one of our most beautiful fixtures and we are so grateful to them for allowing us to enjoy it. I think it would be a very wonderful thing for all of us to send them a little note of our appreciation and to tell them we understand why they didn't join us today but we missed seeing them.

Thank you all so much for all you do .

BJ.Korol"

and from our President Reynolds Cowles:

"Thanks to everyone who put on the excellent pace yesterday. BJ, Allison and Daron, Jennifer, Robin, Kay, Bobbie, Paula and Carolyn as well as the course workers. It was a great event and everyone had fun and came away very well fed. The Fierys are so gracious to allow us to use their great farm. This was another example of the hard working members of the club and their dedication to making it fun for all. Thanks so much.

Reynolds"
