MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES (as of April 17, 2019)
I. Regular Hunting
A. Family (married, with or without children, or single with children under 21):
1. Full hunting and social privileges for member, spouse and children under age of 21.
2. May vote or hold office after the first year of membership (1 vote per family).
3. At the Masters’ discretion may also obtain and pay for hunting privileges for a groom compensated to hunt the member’s horse or to chaperone a minor in the hunting field. Grooms may only hunt once a week.
B. Single (unmarried, no children under 21):
1. Full hunting and social privileges.
2. May vote or hold an office after the first year of membership.
3. At the Masters’ discretion may also obtain and pay for hunting privileges for a groom compensated to hunt the member’s horse or to chaperone a minor in the hunting field. Grooms may only hunt once a week.
C. Student (full time high school, college or grad school):
1. Full hunting privileges for member and spouse.
2. Full social privileges for member and spouse.
3. May not vote or hold office.
II. Social
A. Non-voting:
1. Member and family invited to all social events including after hunt tailgates and Hunt Breakfasts.
2. May hunt twice per season, with advance notice to the Masters.
3. May hunt an additional three times per season upon payment of appropriate cap fees.
4. Unlimited “Walk and Talks” /summer trail rides at no extra cost
5. Unlimited hunting for children under 16 (family membership only)
6. May not vote or hold office.
B. Voting:
1. Member and family invited to all social events including after hunt tailgates and Hunt Breakfasts.
2. May hunt twice per season, with advance notice to the Masters.
3. May hunt an additional three times per season upon payment of appropriate cap fees.
4. Unlimited “Walk and Talks” /summer trail rides at no extra cost
5. Unlimited hunting for children under 16 (family membership only)
6. May vote or hold office after the first year of membership (1 vote per family) and upon receipt of an Initiation Fee by the Treasurer.
III. Limited Associate
1. Must be full hunting member in good standing of another club and live outside of the Farmington area.
2. May hunt one day a week throughout the season.
3. May cap an additional 5x a season.
4. Invited to all social events.
5. Must renew intention to hunt annually upon invitation of the Masters.
6. This is an individal membership only
7. May not vote or hold office.
IV. Non-Resident
1. Must live outside the state of Virginia.
2. May hunt 3 times a season.
3. May cap an additional 5x a season.
4. Welcome at all social events.
5. May not vote or hold office.

*Eligibility for age categories is determined by the age of the member (if single) or the oldest member (if a couple or family).
Payment Methods
You may pay your dues annually or quarterly, by mailing a check to Farmington Hunt Club PO Box 5562 Charlottesville, VA 22905 .The fiscal year runs from April 1 to March 31. If paying quarterly, First Quarter dues are due by June 30, second quarter - September 30, third quarter, December 31 - fourth quarter March 31.
